Eggnog Fudge Equipment:
Nine-inch square baking pan
Candy thermometer (if you don’t have one, the recipe offers another method)
Large saucepan
Wooden mixing spoon
Measuring cup and spoons
Eggnog Fudge Ingredients:
Half cup non-alcoholic eggnog (Here's a great recipe)
Two cups white sugar
¾ cup butter, plus more for greasing the pan
Cooking spray (optional)
One jar marshmallow cream (7 ounces)
One tsp vanilla
One tsp nutmeg, or to taste
½ tsp cinnamon, or to taste
Twelve ounces chopped white chocolate
How To Make Eggnog Fudge:
- Grease the pan with cooking spray or butter
- Add the eggnog, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the saucepan. Cook on medium heat.
- Stir occasionally until the mixture is boiling.
- If you have a candy thermometer, clip it to the side of the pan. Heat to 235 degrees Fahrenheit. If you don’t have one, use a teaspoon to take out a small amount of the mixture. Drop it into a cup of cold water. If it forms a soft ball that you can flatten on a hard surface, it’s ready.
- Remove pan from heat, and add the white chocolate, marshmallow cream, and vanilla.
- Mix with a wooden spoon unless it’s not as shiny.
- Let cool, then cut into squares.
- Serve--maybe with a cup of eggnog!
