Eggnog Fudge Equipment:

Nine-inch square baking pan

Candy thermometer (if you don’t have one, the recipe offers another method)

Large saucepan

Wooden mixing spoon

Measuring cup and spoons

Eggnog Fudge Ingredients:

Half cup non-alcoholic eggnog (Here's a great recipe)

Two cups white sugar

¾ cup butter, plus more for greasing the pan

Cooking spray (optional)

One jar marshmallow cream (7 ounces)

One tsp vanilla

One tsp nutmeg, or to taste

½ tsp cinnamon, or to taste

Twelve ounces chopped white chocolate

How To Make Eggnog Fudge:

  1. Grease the pan with cooking spray or butter
  2. Add the eggnog, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the saucepan. Cook on medium heat.
  3. Stir occasionally until the mixture is boiling.
  4. If you have a candy thermometer, clip it to the side of the pan. Heat to 235 degrees Fahrenheit. If you don’t have one, use a teaspoon to take out a small amount of the mixture. Drop it into a cup of cold water. If it forms a soft ball that you can flatten on a hard surface, it’s ready.
  5. Remove pan from heat, and add the white chocolate, marshmallow cream, and vanilla.
  6. Mix with a wooden spoon unless it’s not as shiny.
  7. Let cool, then cut into squares.
  8. Serve--maybe with a cup of eggnog!
